Setting goals is such an important thing that a lot of people over look. So you’re interested in something. Having interests is a great thing but when you have no specific idea of how or when you want to do it, it will fail. Think of a goal you have. Some goals could be becoming a minimalist, working out more, or saving money. The three main questions I ask are how, why, and when. How do you want to accomplish it? Do you want to put aside a certain amount of money a week? A month? Why do you want to accomplish this goal? Do you want a more simple life? Finally, ask yourself when. How much time are you going to set aside to spend on accomplishing this goal?
When creating a goal, I mainly focus on the when. Once I realize how long I think it is going to take to complete the goal, I can figure out how I’m going to divide that up. The why for me is always pretty self-explanatory because if I don’t know why I’m going to do it, I don’t even bother. Research is very important when figuring out a goal. If you want to become a minimalist, look up different YouTubers. There is always someone out there who has had the same goals as you. Keep pushing through, goals may seem hard, but with a good plan of action you are sure to succeed!
